As part of being a responsible supplier Tokai Carbon takes pride in helping local community groups in various activities.
Recently a local cricket team took part in a competition for children and teenagers with disabilities at the home of world cricket, Lords in London. For one young man this was a particularly special day because his great grandfather played for England on the same ground in the 1950’s, scoring 115 runs in an innings.
The secretary of the club was quoted as saying “it is every cricketer’s ambition to one day play at Lords…..and our team was very excited to be the team picked to represent the county in the event called Lord’s Taverners Cricket for Change National Festival.
A number of organisations provided sponsorship for the team, Tokai Carbon provided the uniform that was worn on the day.
